Anglaise is characterized by patterns composed of round or oval holes, called eyelets, which are cut out of the fabric, and then bound with overcast or buttonhole stitches.

It's great for summer clothing, such as dresses, blouses, and skirts. The cutout designs give the fabric a delicate, feminine look and allow air to circulate, making it comfortable to wear in warm weather.

We sell our fabric in 10cm increments so that you can get exactly what you need. For example, if you would like 1.8m of fabric you will need to select 18 units. Orders of more than one unit will be cut as one continuous length unless requested otherwise.

We work hard to photograph our fabrics in natural light or use our suppliers' images but the colours you may see may still differ slightly to the original fabric. This one is more a terracotta colour than the orange showing in our photos.
