Refunds and Returns


Stock purchases made in the shop or online are subject to our returns policy as below: 

Faulty/damaged goods:

  • Pre-packaged goods: Please return these in their original packaging with your receipt for a full refund.
  • Cut lengths: We can only offer a refund on cut fabric if there is a fault with the fabric. Please bring the fabric and your receipt.
  • If you have purchased online, please email us at including your order number and a photo of the fault.

If you change your mind or are unhappy with your purchase:

  • Pre-packaged goods: We will offer a full refund for unopened goods in their original new condition within 14 days of purchase with the original receipt.
  • Cut lengths: these are classified as Custom Orders so we are unable to offer refunds. Please check your purchase carefully before paying/placing your order.


  • Where payment has been made by credit/debit card, we can only refund to the original payment card.
  • For security purposes, we may need to contact the customer to verify details.
  • Under normal circumstances, refunds will be credited to customers’ accounts within seven days.


a)    Cancellation by you:

  • Refunds will only be given if we are able to re-sell your place. You are welcome to send someone else in your place instead. Just let us know their contact details as soon as possible.
  • Refunds will not be issued if you are unable to complete a class due to malfunctioning equipment.
b)    Cancellation by us:
  • In the unlikely event of us needing to cancel a workshop or sewing club session we will give as much notice as possible and will offer you a place on an alternative workshop/session.
  • If this is not suitable for any reason then we will provide you with a Gift Voucher or refund your full fees.
  • Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any other/3rd party costs or expenses you may have incurred in relation to the original booking.

Sewing Workshops/Courses/Sewcials

  • Please bring your own sewing machine to these workshops.
  • Make sure that it is in full working order.
  • We recommend that you also bring along the manual.
  • Refunds will not be issued if you are unable to complete a class due to malfunctioning equipment.
