Patchwork Sampler Quilt Course (12 months)
We are thrilled to be able to offer this course from September.
We'll be using Alice Caroline's Wonderland Sampler Quilt book as our basis for this course; creating 100 blocks over a 12 month period.

Sampler quilts are endlessly joyous due to the large variety of blocks and techniques used. Whether you find resonance in the rhythmic repetition of patchwork, enjoy the artistic freedom of raw-edge appliqué, or seek the meditative precision of English Paper Piecing, this quilt offers a playground for your sewing aspirations.
A sampler quilt is a brilliant way to enhance your sewing skills or simply perfect the ones you already have.
- The early blocks introduce you gently to the basics, as you progress through the book you are guided through more intricate designs as you build your skills
- For more experienced sewers, there is much pleasure to be had in in choosing the perfect fabrics, and much interest to be had in the variety of blocks in this quilt.

The course will run on the 2nd Monday of the month between 2pm and 4.30pm. (We also hope to have an evening course running too).
Signing up to the course will give you access to 12 tutored sessions plus 10 free sewcials where you can come along and use the knowledge you have gained to complete more blocks. In addition, there will be homework between classes if you want to complete all 100 blocks in the year.
Dates: 2nd Monday in the month from Monday 14th September. Free sewcials will start on the 5th October.
Classes - 14/9; 12/10; 9/11; 14/12; 11/1; 8/2; 8/3; 12/4; 10/5; 14/6; 12/7; 9/8.
Free Sewcials (Available only to those on this course): 5/10; 2/11; 7/12; 4/1; 1/2; 1/3; 5/4; 7/6; 5/7; 2/8.
Times: 2.00pm to 4.30pm.
Price: £120 payable by the 31st July 2026 (£30 deposit to secure your space).
If you would like to see our version do pop into the shop (the blocks are coming together on our quilt wall, in the back room upstairs).
