Make a Memory Bear (3 week course)

Use a loved one's clothes or fabric treasures to make a keepsake teddy bear. I've made loads of these and have been on the hunt for the best pattern to use. After many trials I have finally found a pattern that makes a bear that is just the cutest and cuddliest and I am thrilled to be able to offer this class. 

It can be made from either jersey fabrics (old t-shirts, jumpers, baby clothing) or from wovens (old shirts, sheets, clothing e.g.).

You do need to be confident in using a sewing machine to join this class as there are some trickier elements of sewing to get the 3D shaping (I will guide you through them of course!).  

I also recommend that on your first one, you use fabrics that aren't your really precious ones. You will learn an awful lot on the first one so experiment with potentially new techniques on fabric scraps or less precious items.
