Men's Cargo Shorts sewing pattern has pleated side pockets, back welt pockets, a front fly with zipper, side pockets, six belt loops, faced waistline, and back reinforcement.
This traditional cargo short has a 9½” / 24 cm inseam.
Remove the side pocket and reinforcement and make a classic pair of shorts.

The shorts have a front zipper and welt pockets. If you are new to welts and zippers, it's only a matter of practicing a few times! Read the step by step blog post on how to install the zipper.
Choose a bottom weight sturdy type cotton, linen, rip-stop, canvas, denim or other traditional pant weight fabric. The fabric may include lycra, but it’s not required.
