Dressmaking - Lined Coat (3 Week Course) Thursday afternoons

Ever fancied making your own coat, but maybe lack confidence to give it a go?

This course is an ideal introduction to coat making. You'll learn how to handle heavy fabrics including the use of a clapper and hump jumper (!) plus you'll learn an array of techniques including lining. 

We'll learn by making McCalls M8438 a lovely long roomy belted and lined coat.

This isn't a course for beginner dressmakers. You do need to have made garments previously. 

The pattern is included in the price of the course but the materials are not. 

Dates:  Thursday 15th, 22nd and 29th January (there is an additional session available on Thurs 8th Jan to help with sizing/fabric choice/questions etc between 2pm and 4pm).

Time: 2.00pm - 5.00pm
