FME & More 3 Week Course (Evenings) Free Motion Embroidery
Even the most basic sewing machine can be used to create decorative effects and providing the feed dogs on your machine can be lowered or covered, you will also be able to do Free Motion Embroidery (FME).
On this 3 week course, you'll not only learn 2 techniques of FME but also how to use metallic and embroidery threads; how to use the decorative stitches on your machine; how to use a twin needle and how to make cords and braids.
You'll make samples of all these techniques.
The course is suitable for those who are confident in using the sewing machine for straight and zig-zag sewing. Your sewing machine needs to be able to drop the feed dogs to be able to do free motion embroidery and you will need a darning/embroidery foot. Ask us if you are not sure.
