Dressmaking (Intermediate) Simple Trousers/Shorts 1 Day Class
A lovely follow on from our Start Dressmaking course or other 1 day dressmaking classes.
In this class, you'll make a simple pair of summer trousers, shorts or culottes. These have darts, in seam pockets and an elasticated waist making them extremely versatile. We think you'll want to make loads of pairs after this class!
Ideally choose a stable woven fabric; like cotton drill or linens e.g. or (if you have done our 6 week course) you could choose a floatier fabric like viscose.
You'll need to be fully confident in the use of your sewing machine to attend this class and ideally will have made other garments previously including inserting darts.
The pattern is included in this class but the materials are not. The pattern comes in a Uk size range of 12-26 (Hip 34" to 50"). If you need a pattern outside of this size range; let us know and we can provide an alternative.
