Gosh, I so want to make this and use it as a picnic blanket in the summer!

We'll be deviating slightly from the photos and using only 3 main fabrics. A light background; a solid for the middle squares and a patterned for the outer. It makes it much more fabric efficient without losing the drama and clever outcome.

You will make the top and then have the choice; make it into a quilt with wadding or back it with fleece for a fun summer blanket.

We absolutely don't expect perfection in our classes. We want you to have fun; so we offer lots of hints and tips that will stand you in good stead but don't worry if you think you can't sew in a straight line!

This course is ideal if you have done some patchwork before and are looking to improve your skills. The pattern is included in the price of the course; but the materials are not.

Dates:

Tuesday evenings (6.30pm - 9.00pm)

Tuesday 2nd, 9th, 23rd and 30th July; 6th and 13th August.

Please note that there is no class on 16th July.
